 - Lying is a cooperative act because you have to believe the lie for someone to actually lie to you. I personally do agree that you have to believe the lie for someone to lie to you but a person can still lie to your face, you choosing to believe it or not is up to that person. Lying can make us fell better depending on what we are lying about. We could wish that we were better at being certain way, like a better girlfriend for example, so wed lie to make ourselves look better as that.  - We as a society hate lying and liars because we want the truth... but we are all for it because it can protect people from the truth and not cause drama. Like your wife asks you if this dress makes her look fat, are you going to tell her the truth? Or are you going to be a good husband and tell her that she looks amazing not matter what she wears.       While being in college there are many things that you can learn about yourself or things that you pick up along the way. Most of these are skills, they don't have to be handiness skills but they can be like communication, how to properly word an email, just some basic human skills. The top five skills that I wish to gain are: How to keep my life balanced - I have realized that I never really leave time for myself and its really biting me in the ass when it comes to my mental health because there is three-four weeks left and I have absolutely no motivation for softball and school work. How to be prepared for the unexpected - When it comes to relationships or anything life tries to throw at me I'm normally not the best prepared that I can be.      As a freshman in college it can be scary, especially when you are in the middle of a pandemic. Aside from the pandemic it's always scary. You're finally on your own, as an independent adult. At first it might seem amazing and fun but after a while you start realize that it's not all that it's cracked up to be. I remember back in high school all my teachers wold say "Your professors don't care if you pass or fail, its your degree" and them saying things along the lines of "Its going to be so much harder in college". I honestly want to call bullshit on them.       Yes the material you are learning is harder and there's so much that you do have to learn in such a little amount of time, but personally its not that hard when you actually time manage properly.
